KS2 Test results 2017
Congratulations to our Year 6 children on their recent results in the End of Key Stage 2 tests. This year was the second to test the new curriculum and our children achieved well in all areas; improving their performance overall.
88% achieved the expected standard in reading compared to 71% nationally. 40% of our children achieved the higher standard.
85% achieved the expected standard in Maths compared to 75% nationally. 37% of our children achieved the higher standard.
93% achieved the expected standard in Grammar, Punctuation and spelling compared to 77% nationally. 48% of our children achieved the higher standard.
88% achieved the expected standard in writing teacher assessment compared to a national average of 76%. 12% of our children achieved the higher standard.
This resulted in 73% of our pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths which is significantly above the 61% of children who achieved this expected measure nationally.
Our progress scores for 2017 were 0.8 for reading, -1.9 writing and 0.4 Maths.
The average scaled scores for reading were 108 (national 104) and Maths 107 (national 104) and grammar, punctuation and spelling 110 (national 106).
