KS2 Test results 2016

Congratulations to our Year 6 children on their recent results in the End of Key Stage 2 tests. This year was the first to test the new curriculum and our children achieved well in all areas.

74% achieved the expected standard in reading compared to 67% nationally. 32% of our children achieved the higher standard.

77% achieved the expected standard in Maths compared to 71% nationally. 33% of our children achieved the higher standard.

86% achieved the expected standard in Grammar, Punctuation and spelling compared to 74% nationally. 51% of our children achieved the higher standard.

82% achieved the expected standard in writing teacher assessment compared to a national average of 75%. 23% of our children achieved the higher standard.

This resulted in 63% of our pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined compared to 54% of children nationally.

Our progress scores for 2016 were -0.9 reading, -1.2 writing and -1.3 Maths.

The average scaled scores for reading were 105 (national 103) and Maths 105 (national 103).
